Mission is to promote and protect its members, individually and collectively, with services and representation to enhance their professional and business activities.

 

Association of Regulatory Boards of Optometry (ARBO) 
Provide resources to state regulatory boards of optometry throughout North America.

 

Australasian College of Behavioural Optometrists (ACBO) 
Foundation for knowledge and education for professionals in behavioral optometry.

Information about the association. Clinical Conference announcements, continuing education courses and scientific meetings.

 

California Optometric Association   
Dedicated to assuring the highest quality health care for the public through the advancement of optometry.

 

Canadian Association of Optometrists 
Provides information about Optometry, the association, as well as information on vision and eye health.

 

Dynamic Vision Network   
Organization for independent optometrists in South Africa.

 

Eye Health Council of Canada   
A partnership between the ophthalmic industry and Optometry, is the national public education division of the Canadian Association of Optometrists (CAO). Each year it hosts Eye Health Canada Month, a national public awareness campaign.

 

Federation Of Ophthalmic and Dispensing Opticians, UK   
Represents the business interests of registered opticians.

 

Florida Optometric Association   
Provides information on sight wellness, and a list of O.D.'s in the state.

 

General Optical Council, UK   
Regulatory authority in the UK and Northern Ireland responsible for the regulation of opticians (optometrists). It does this by providing for statutory registration, the accreditation and monitoring of education, training and examination. It also enforces proper standards of practice and conduct.

Institute of Optometry, UK   
Offers a comprehensive range of services to support the optical professional throughout the UK. Also provides specialist eyecare services to the public.

 

International Association of Contact Lens Educators (IACLE)   
Global educational organization dedicated to raising the standard of contact lens education worldwide and promoting the widespread, safe use of contact lenses.

 

Maryland Optometric Association 
Dedicated to delivering the highest standard of professional optometry care to the citizens of the state.

 

New Zealand Association of Optometrists 
Represents over 90% of the Practicing Optometrists in New Zealand. Information for optometrists, vision and useful links.

 

Ohio Optometric Association
